Alien In-Line programs are coming to a school near you! Our skating programs take a fun approach to in-line skating beginning with learning about the equipment and techniques that will allow you to have a safe skate. From our experience a safe skate is a fun skate! By gaining the confidence that your are knowledgeable and well protected in the activity you will perform, we can then teach you some really neat skills. Our lessons usually progress as follows:

Equipment – Learn what equipment and gear you require to skate safely, correctly, and efficiantly.

      • Gear up!
      • If you do lose your balance, how to fall safely.

Beginner movement – Teaching of basic techniques to get you moving and give you control.

      • Basic striding or Stride I
      • Basic stopping using a Heel Brake Stop
      • Basic turning using an “A” Frame Turn

Advanced Beginner movement – Add the teaching of other skills that will help you to skate, turn and stop even more effectively, and with some style and flair!

Games — Our instructors know a number of games and activities that allow you to practices the skills you’ve learned in a variety of fun ways!
